The diagnostic Services were started by the Centre with a view to give the benefit of Homeopathy and Modern Science as Dr.Subodh Mehta strongly believed that Homoeopathy, Ayurveda and Allopathy were all proven sciences but each had their limitations. Hence he propagated the concept of combining these in certain conditions or where one did not give desired results, to try the other. This was during the period when Allopaths generally were non-believers in the other sciences - particularly Homeopathy.
